The story of Maggie Lena Walker - a legendary woman.
Did you know the first woman
to charter and head a bank in the United States was an African American woman?
And did you know she did it before women had the right to vote? She did it when
those in power were still solidly mandating segregation, in fact, she started
her bank 61 years before segregation was outlawed in the United States. She did
it even though she was also raising 3 children, heading a large fraternal
organization, and running a newspaper, which, by the way, she also founded.
Listen in as I tell her story!
Teaching life coaches how to have wild success by letting go of the stories that are holding them back.
Also once a month (because it's fun) telling the stories of women from history you should know about and retelling the stories of famous women through a new lens.
