  • What's up, Helen?
"Am I Old Yet?" Instead of our usual format of short stand-alone episodes in the life of Helen Docherty, Season 12 kicks off in the form of a 6-episode serial, so make sure you subscribe to receive each new episode as it drops. And if you'd like to support the production, you can do that at buymeacoffee.com/amIoldyet. Helen is 81 years old, and she's fed up with lots of things, especially the News, but an invitation to spend the evening with her daughter Janey is not to be turned down. Can she get down to the shops and back in time without running into any trouble? In this day and age? If you would like to listen to all 6 episodes in one Omnibus Edition, just head over to Patreon.com/amIoldyet to make a donation or to subscribe. The cast is: John Warner as Jon (that's Janey's husband), Patricia Gray as the shopkeeper, Erika Sanderson as Susie and Flloyd Kennedy as Helen, Janey, Jennifer and Joey. The music is by John T La Barbera. I'd like to give a shoutout to our regular subscribers over at Patreon.com. It all helps, believe me. I'd also like to give a express my gratitude to the Fable and Folly network for their fabulous support and encouragement Please find and support our sponsors at: fableandfolly.com/partners Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 6, the finale. Helen, our elderly heroine, is still unconscious after her collision with the pavement. Jon and Janey and Susie are still anxiously awaiting the results of the scan, and the medical staff in the Accident and Emergency Department are just about keeping their heads above water with the weekend rush as well as random relatives - or are they? You heard, in alphabetical order: Roy R Carruthers as Philip Kate Hanley-Corley as Jessica Norton Flloyd Kennedy as Helen and Janey, Wendy Lap as Nurse Cassy and Chief Neurologist Rona McMillan Christopher McDougall as Dr Harold Godley and the policeman Erika Sanderson as Susie John Warner as Jonathan, or Jon Marsden. The music throughout was by John T La Barbera, sound design by me, Flloyd Kennedy. I hope you enjoyed this Season. • Return of the Bread
"Return of the Bread" is a bonus episode which marks a departure for TMT, in that it is our first attempt at a crossover episode. Characters from our two podcasts, "Am I Old Yet?" and "Baked Off! Live Laugh Loaves!" meet up in Helen's favourite Cheese Shop Cafe in south London, where cafe owner Ilse is getting ready for the lunch time trade. It's been a quiet morning so far, but things are about to hot up when the participants of Caroline's online cookery class arrive from various parts of the United Kingdom to meet up with their tutor Margot, who is about to fly in from Australia for a visit. You heard, in order of appearance: Flloyd Kennedy as Ilse, Helen and Margot; Wendy Lap as Rosemary and Katie; Erika Sanderson as Susie and Juliana; Andrea Richardson as Caroline, Christopher McDougall as Duncan, Karim Kronfli as Pierre and Roy R Carruthers as Freddie. The music was by John T La Barbera, and the script and production design was by Flloyd Kennedy. Season 12 will begin to drop at the end of this month. About Am I Old Yet? — Comedy audio drama

A coming-of-age, slice of life, audio fiction comedy with a difference. Our ageing heroine shares senior moments, family relationships and adventures—entertaining and a wee bit provocative. In Season 6 some ancient Greek deities choose her to 'save the planet' - if she only knew what her superpower was. Written, performed and produced by Aussie-born, Liverpool-based actress, singer-songwriter and performance poet Flloyd Kennedy with guest performers on 3 continents.  Please support the podcast - you can subscribe at Patreon.com/amIoldyet. ★★★★★ "This is delightful storytelling from Flloyd Kennedy. Gentle but deceptively sharp; underestimate the characters populating this podcast at your own peril. The writing, performance and music are all a joy."
