The Georgie Campbell Foundation – to support the sport she loved with a smile

    18/05/2026 | 29 mins.
In this episode, Liz Daniels is joined by Jo Williams, older sister of the late Georgie Campbell and a trustee of the Georgie Campbell Foundation.

The tragic loss of Georgie rocked the equestrian community to the core, and after Georgie's public memorial, the foundation was created with two missions in mind; to improve horse and rider safety by reducing the risk of rotational falls; and, secondly, to provide riders with early-stage eventing businesses through the provision of mentoring, educational training, and bursary support.

Jo shares how the sisters grew up surrounded by ponies on the farm, and Jo being annoyed that Georgie could do rising trot before her – to the formation of the foundation, and the story behind the Hi Ho Silver Twig jewelry.

Listen to the podcast and find out how you can get involved in supporting Georgie's legacy to make positive change in the sport.

From Stables to Standing Ovations: Flo Dawes and The Hawkstone Farmers Choir

    28/04/2026 | 29 mins.
Equiteam's Liz Daniels is joined by the brilliantly inspiring Flo Dawes, a member of the Hawkstone Farmers Choir, whose unforgettable debut on Britain's Got Talent had audiences across the UK reaching for the tissues.

Accomplished equestrian Flo, shares more about her day job as a professional dressage rider alongside running a livery yard, Nupdown Equestrian, in Bristol, and how answering an advert on Facebook for singing farmers has changed her life.

What began as a simple audition to promote Jeremy Clarkson's Hawkstone lager quickly grew into something far bigger, attracting hundreds of applicants and shining a light on the incredible, often hidden talent within rural communities.
Flo shares the choir's journey from meeting Jeremy and Caleb Cooper, to stepping out on a National platform to sing live for the first time in years, and receiving the golden buzzer from Amanda Holden for their powerful rendition of Elbow's One Day.

From singing with her Mum, to bringing people together as advocates for mental health and well-being in the rural community, Flo shares a glimpse of what could be next for The Hawkstone Farmers Choir.

Dancing your way to feeling proud

    21/04/2026 | 31 mins.
It's not very often that we allow ourselves to feel proud, or to set out to a big competition with a goal, only then move the goal posts in the heat of the moment - which leaves a taste of disappointment.
Equiteam's Liz Daniels and Louise Gillings reflect on a week of British Dressage Winter Champs as they explore the feelings of overwhelm, lying awake in the middle of the night trying to remember how big a 15m circle is- and why community is the most important thing of all.
