But years earlier in Pembroke, Kentucky, Calvin Phillips, Pam Phillips, and their neighbor Ed Dansereau were found dead under circumstances that never quite made sense. As the investigation unfolded, the truth became harder to pin down, and even after the verdict, some questions refused to go away.
