- This week, we’re getting into two dilemmas that had us questioning EVERYTHING.
First up, a listener finds herself third-wheeling HARD when her married best friend brings her along… only to spend the whole time completely wrapped up in her man. Are there rules to bringing your single friends around your partner, or does she just need to accept the third-wheel life? 😭
Then, a listener meets a potential husband online and thinks she may have found the one — but the deeper things get, the more she finds herself questioning whether she actually likes the person she’s becoming around him. Her heart is telling her one thing, her mind is telling her another, and the duas she’s been making might have been answered in a way she wasn’t expecting…
Oh, and somehow, another woman ends up in the picture 👀

See acast.com/privacy for more information. - This week we kick things off by reviewing and dissecting The Odyssey, before chatting about the World Cup and discussing the online backlash surrounding the new Somali film starring Sabrina Elba, where she plays a single mother who falls in love with a Jamaican man.
We also react to some of the negative comments we’ve received over the last few episodes and have an honest conversation about criticism, growth and staying true to ourselves.
Our first dilemma is from a woman in a long-distance relationship with a man who once agreed to marriage but now seems distant, follows other women online and leaves her questioning whether she’s wasting her time.
We then read through a viral post where women share the biggest lessons they’ve learned from past relationships… and the responses are eye-opening.
Our second dilemma comes from a wife and mother who feels completely overwhelmed. She’s carrying the mental load of raising children, paying bills, receiving little affection or appreciation from her husband and admits she’s emotionally checked out of the marriage.
We wrap up the episode with a reminder that no matter how heavy life feels, Allah is greater than every worry, fear and anxiety we carry.
💌 We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

💄 A husband gave away his wife’s luxury makeup hamper without asking – was it an innocent mistake or completely out of line?
💍 We also discuss a woman who’s been married for 4-5 years but feels exhausted from carrying the financial burden while her husband still hasn’t found stable work. Is there a point where it’s okay to walk away?
🎙️ Plus, we have an honest conversation about why discussions from Islamic students of knowledge can sometimes feel one-sided when it comes to women, and why these conversations deserve more nuance.
As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Send your dilemmas to
