  • BONUS: "The Jack Family Disappearance"
In August 1989, Ronald Jack and his family had fallen on hard times due to an injury forcing Ronald to give up work, so when an employment offer at a near by logging camp in British Columbia, Canada, was given to the family they couldn't say no.Ronald, his wife Doreen and their two sons, Russell and Ryan packed up the car of the stranger who had offered the job in the early hours of 2nd August 1989 and were whisked off to commence their 10-14 days of employment, however, when the family hadn't heard from them by the 25th August, they were reported missing.36 years on, the Jack family have still not been found nor has the man that offered them the job, the car they were seen packing up or the person who made an anonymous call 7 years on with their location. Doreen's sister, Marlene, continues to campaign and keep their name alive via social media, fundraising events and memorials, however, still is no closer to where the only full family missing in Canada could be. Please take some time to look over the social media pages campaigning for answers, I have also added the go fund me link below. • Ep 4: "Adam"
This weeks episode is hard hitting, as we talk about Adam - also known as "The Torso In the Thames".Adam's case is the longest unsolved child murder case for the MET police, and to this day his true identity is still unknown. Although arrests were made and significant leads were discovered in the form of DNA, the police are no closer to knowing who this young boy really is and what happened to him.Due to the nature of this case, an extra warning has been put in place and listener discretion is advised.Naomi's podcasts:RealInvestigating Essex: Dying to be Saved African Music - Music by Tunetank from PixabayIf you have a story in mind that you would like featured, please email [email protected], you can also find me on instagram If you would like to sponsor the podcast, you can do so via buymeacoffeeMusic by Grand_Project from PixabayDonations have been made to the music artist. • Ep 2: "The Three Abandoned London Babies."
On a cold January night in 2024, a dog walker found a discarded reusable carrier bag on the junctions of Greenway and High Street South in Newham, London. When they looked inside, they found a newborn baby wrapped in a white blanket. However, this story is not a one off much like most abandoned babies, because this baby was a full sibling to two other babies left in close by locations in 2017 and 2019. On this weeks episode, we cover the story of Harry, Roman and Elsa - the three full siblings who started life in similar circumstances and how the police are still trying to locate their birth parents.
