Ye Olde Executions: Thankfully the majority of societies no longer hand out the death penalty but if you were unlucky enough to live in the distant past there were some strange ways to depart this mortal coil. In this episode we explore the Roman pratice of Poena Cullei which involved a sack and a collection of animals, and Schaphism which needed 2 boats and a load of milk and honey. Don't ask.
