- Whether you’re stretched out on a beach, crawling through summer traffic or desperately trying to entertain the kids for another six weeks, Gas It Out is here with your MotoGP summer-break survival kit.
This week, we hand the show over to you and dive into the listener mailbag. Gavin, Neil and Sylvain tackle your questions on the sound of the new 850cc bikes, the future of MotoGP, rider moves, racing memories and all manner of paddock rabbit holes.
There is also news to discuss, sunshine on the Isle of Man, talk of palm trees, fancy restaurants and, naturally, Neil Hodgson’s favourite summer tipple.
Your questions, our questionable answers.

Gav, Neil and Sylvain ask whether we have ever seen a better rider and circuit combination, why Marc remains untouchable when the track keeps turning left, and whether he had considerably more speed in reserve.
But with 11 rounds completed and 11 more still to come, this championship is far from finished. Ai Ogura is rapidly becoming the story of the season, Marco Bezzecchi heads into the break with recovery on his mind after breaking his collarbone, Jorge Martin leads the standings but continues to be beaten by the other Aprilias, and the top five are separated by only 24 points.
There is also the small matter of whether the Sachsenring is actually any good for motorcycle racing. (Spoiler alert, it's not)
Plus, Ivan Ortola’s Moto2 masterclass, Brian Uriarte’s Moto3 statement, World Superbikes at Donington and the controversial decision that cost Maria Herrera a world championship celebration.
If in doubt, Gas It Out.

Gavin Emmett and Neil Hodgson look ahead to the German Grand Prix, discussing why Sachsenring suits Márquez so perfectly, whether Aprilia can finally spoil the party, and why the championship is far from over despite Márquez's recent charge.
They also dive into the rapidly evolving 2027 rider market, with Jorge Martín and Ai Ogura confirmed for Yamaha, Álex Márquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio heading to KTM, Joan Mir and Daniel Holgado joining Gresini, and plenty more seats still to be filled.
There's also a look at the halfway point of the championship, WorldSBK at Donington Park, and, of course, the absent Sylvain Guintoli checks in after Suzuka - he's REALLY busy guys, ok?

See acast.com/privacy for more information. - This week just Gav and Neil review a huge Dutch TT at Assen, where Ai Ogura claimed his first MotoGP victory and became Japan’s first premier-class winner for 22 years. Meanwhile, Sylvain gives us an update from Suzuka with incontinence pants on. True story!
The boys get into Ogura’s calm, precise style, the way he fought back despite ride-height device problems, and why he now has to be taken seriously as a genuine title contender.
There’s also plenty on Trackhouse after a stunning Sprint and Grand Prix double 1-2, Raul Fernandez’s form, Marco Bezzecchi’s costly crash, Jorge Martin’s complicated weekend, Fabio Di Giannantonio being impossible to ignore, Marc Marquez staying right in the championship fight, and another worrying technical chapter for KTM and Pedro Acosta.
Plus, a bit of Assen history, a little Moto2, and Neil’s airport-beer KTM theory.
