From events in the early 90’s, managing London's Uptown Records in 1995, launching the House Music Awards in 2004 to compiling, mixing and launching the first Housexy compilation for Ministry of Sound in 2005, Paul Farris has enjoyed a remarkably multi-faceted career within the music industry.
Aside from being a world-class house music DJ, he’s also been a dance magazine contributor, promotions company owner, radio presenter, producer, event manager and label owner. He’s been a resident DJ for Defected records throughout the label’s founding years, held long term residencies at Ministry Of Sound, Kindergarten Klub and Sounds Heavenly and managed the legendary independent London record store Uptown Records during it's first 8 years.
Paul now lives in Brisbane Australia, DJ's selectively in Brisbane.
