January 2026 Wrapped - Live at You Fest With Robert Ball

    05/2/2026 | 41 mins.
Can you truly dissect an entire months worth of culture into one 40 minute podcast?
    We'll give it a go.
I'm joined by return guest and dear friend Robert Ball, live on stage at You Fest. I intend to break the format every month and discuss the month in music with a friend.
So for this monthly round up we discuss The Cribs, Kurupt FM, Harry Styles, jumping out of planes and Matty Healy committing serious crimes against indie.
    Enjoy!

Episode 61 - Russ Festival Friend - Plan B, The Defamation of Strickland Banks

    29/1/2026 | 40 mins.
For episode 61 I'm joined by a man that has become the face of British festival culture and a social media sensation, it's Russ Festival Friend!

For this episode we look back to Plan B's seminal 2010 album while also talking about Russ' passion for country music, The 1975 and how why he's no longer aloud to have any more meet ups at Reading Festival.

It's a real fun one and best enjoyed in the company of your mates over a warm can of beer.

Episode 60 - Ben Cardew - Stereolab - Transient Random Noise Bursts with Announcements

    22/1/2026 | 1h 3 mins.
It's the big 6-0 and for episode 60 I'm joined by a man that is truly an expert on his chosen album, because he's literally written a book on it!

Ben Cardew is a music journalist, radio host, podcaster and DJ who joined me from Barcleona to deep dive Stereolab's - Transient Random Noise Bursts with Announcements from 1993.

In 2021, Ben relesed his first book - Daft Punk's Discovery - A Future Unfurled and in March will release his second - Space Age Bachelor Pad Music - The Story of Stereolab in 20 Songs.

It's a really fun episode where we discuss the crushing dispointment of being a Morrissey fan, reading French books to look cool and robots wearing wellies.

    Viva Norwich!

Episode 59 - Ed Jones - John Mayer, Continiuum

    15/1/2026 | 1h 3 mins.
For episode 59 I'm joined by actor, comedian and social media sensation - Ed Jones!

You'll be familiar with Ed's social media antics or maybe you'll know him from his comedic work with sketch group Crybabies. But if you've been following his work for long enough you'll know that Ed started his career in the arts as a John Mayer inspired singer songwriter.

We get into all of it as we discuss Mayer's seminal 2006 album - Continuum while also asking the big questions, such as - "How much sex was Mick Hucknall REALLY having?"

Best enjoyed with "a gentlemens' Guinness"

20 Years of Arctic Monkeys - MP3 Zip Files to Reading 2006

    08/1/2026 | 23 mins.
It’s the milestone every millennial has been fearing, but January 2026 marks 20 years since Arctic Monkeys released their debut album and (not be too hyperbolic, but…) EVERYTHING changed.
In true James Murphy style, I can say “I was there…”
So for this special solo episode of the podcast I run through my early Arctics experiences and the impact they had on me

About “THIS Album…” with William Hann

"This Album..." with William Hann. The podcast where each episode a guest and I deep dive an album of their choice. It could be an album from any artist, any genre, any year. We're going to discuss the songs, the shows, the artwork. But what I really want is to know is the emotional attachment my guest has to the album. Who knows, we might even have a bloody laugh while doing it!
