Subject: RE: Discovery of Drift-Vessels in Harmonic Suspension
Cultural tags and onboard log fragments suggest these crews did not perish, but were caught in emotional states that entrained with local harmonic anomalies—what we now believe may be a Fold Echo Vortex.
No attempt at forced extraction has been made. The Wanderer does not consider the harmonic threads fully separable from the identities they preserve.
Recommendation: Proceed with ethical review and response protocol.
Note: One of the dream threads included a whisper resembling a Federation Anthem, circa Cycle 3.
Upon approach to sector Delta-Fold-1173 (unregistered Fold variance), The Wanderer detected residual resonance signatures inconsistent with natural harmonic decay.
A harmonic triangulation scan confirmed the presence of multiple vessels—human and non-human—suspended in a state of nonlinear temporal stasis. These ships exhibit no onboard life activity in measurable biological terms, yet all resonance readings indicate active dream-phase frequency loops.

ECHOES OF THE PLASMA MIRROR - PART ONE
The stars beyond the observation field weren’t blinking.
They were... waiting.
I stood there for longer than I meant to, one hand resting on the curved lightrail, the other tracing invisible constellations I hadn’t named yet.
Behind me, a ripple in the air grew thoughtful.
Then came the voice—familiar, impossibly patient.
“Captain... you do realize this is wildly irresponsible?”
I didn’t turn.
“That’s never stopped us before.”
“True,” she replied, emerging into form—a shimmer of thought crystallizing into something like a silhouette stitched from moonlight and memory. “But we usually
have the decency to pretend we’re trying to be careful.”
