Hey everybody! I’m finally back with another episode of Jonestown Jams. It’s been forever and I’m sure you’ve missed me. There are some minor changes to the show, as you’ll hear. I’m hoping they can keep me and my listeners interested in the show. I think this is a pretty good one. Some things to mention about this show’s music: A. Rival’s album 8-Bit Pimp is on sale for $3 right now on bandcamp. I really like it and even considered using Go for Broke as the Blue Yonder theme song at one point. There are previews for each track so you don’t have to take my word for it! Most of you probably know it already but the song from Inverse Phase is a Cee-Lo Green cover. One of the best mood lifters I know. The video spins it a bit to be about an old NES that’s been stuck in the closet and forgotten in favor of newer games. Hilarious and sad at the same time. I include it after the track listing. Finally, Nerdapalooza is a Florida-based con that features a bunch of the biggest nerdy bands around. Check out the site (which links to other sites that have links to even more sites that feature actual music!) and the con if you can make it. The 2011 show is still in the planning stages. That’s it. Enjoy the music and if you have any requests, send them to me at [email protected] or post them in our forums! See ya next time, hopefully sooner, rather than later.
