A Donington Historic Festival Review with Nigel Greensall
Prolific historics racer Nigel Greensall joins Group National Editor Stephen Lickorish for the latest edition of the Autosport National Podcast to look back on the Donington Historic Festival.
Greensall shared five different cars with John Spiers during last weekend's event and, although he came close, did not quite take any victories (https://www.autosport.com/national/news/f4-racer-reynolds-scores-remarkable-cortina-win-at-donington-historic-festival/10720183/).
As well as reflecting on those races, Greensall discusses the various - and surprising - challenges of swapping between such different cars and the important skills that racing in historic machines can teach drivers.
The pair also pick out some of the other highlights from the Donington meeting and examine the new GT3 Legends series and how it is important historic racing organisers continue to innovate.
