  • The Caddy Curse Breaks - 2025 WEC 6 Hours Of São Paulo Review
Autosport Editor-In-Chief Kevin Turner sits down with Sportscar correspondent Gary Watkins to review Round 5 of the 2025 World Endurance Championship, the 6 Hours of São Paulo. For the first time in WEC history, it was a win for Cadillac as Team JOTA scored a 1-2 finish in Interlagos, with the #12 team of Alex Lynn, Norman Nato and Will Stevens taking victory ahead of teammates Earl Bamber, Sebastien Bourdais and Jenson Button. Gary talks about the dominant nature of the victory, and of course, the BoP adjustments made to the field, with only Porsche able to keep up with the American factory, and Peugeot being the third best team on the day. Is this a better balance for the field, with Ferrari and Toyota way off the pace? There's also a review of LMGT3 as Akkodis ASP Team took the class victory in the Lexus, with an emotional pole position and podium finish for Racing Spirit of Léman' hometown hero, Eduardo Barrichello, son of F1 driver Rubens.
