Lots of hot takes in our intro.
Dax negging Worf. Quark's ex-wife! Worf... picks on Morn, and then pretends to be a traditional Klingon. Worf sulks in a corner while Dax and Quark talk about Grilka. Is Worf a Klingon weeb, or is he just autistic? Quark has to fight another Klingon. Quark meat puppet time! Dax victorious.
Oh yeah there's a b-plot too! The OTHER O'Briens. Polyamorous domesticity. Meat Odo's surprisingly interested in gossip. Miles and Kira feel the fanfiction. Of all the male characters on station, does Kira have the most chemistry with Miles? The Enterprise is a place where people work, DS9 is a place where people live.

S4E50 - Klingon Sisko can Get It
Episode Notes
We begin the 5th season of Deep Space 9 with the 50th episode of PodSpace9! Buckle up, folks.
Apocalypse Rising: HEIST! Sad formerly goo boy. The problem with prototypes. Oh good more questionable science. Dukat just wants a selfie. Kira is very pregnant. One of the greatest 4th wall breaking jokes in Star Trek, or possibly TV, history. Sisko really digs being a Klingon. Weapons vs. Worf's lying ability. Sometimes you need a room full of Klingons with guns. Gowron knows many layers of battle.
The Ship: Another war episode, but quite different from the fun one last time. This may be the last Trek episode about The Cold War. The cast devolves into their worst selves. Sisko lays out DS9's themes for the next three seasons. The Dominion only sees zero-sum games. If you get a nickname, ya dead.

Body Parts: Miles Suffers (parental). Body Swap plot, but a brand new version--and the most Star Trek gender reveal party ever. What a great way to hide Nana Visitor's pregnancy. Miles/Kira/Keiko polycule? The other plot is... different. Of course Ferengi have annual insurance physicals. BRUNT, FCA. Garak is definitely not an assassin. Quark actually has friends.
