    Nick Pratt @nicolasisbarefoot 👍🏻❤️

    30/08/2026 | 1h 24 mins.
A random time and day for a very good reason, today’s guest is from the east coast of Australia so for him it’s 19:30pm.

We started as we always do with a quick chat and a garden question from George, this week about Rhubarb as we were wearing Rhubarb leaves on our heads the other day.

Our guest is from the other side of the world, who is trying to help people reduce the supply chain from food grower to food eater with self sufficiency, connecting with nature and forming a community of like minded people.

What a fantastic chat wide ranging talking about how our respective countries are being affected by climate change.

Nick talked about how he grows a diverse range of food for his family and grows plants to create herbal products to sell.

He is also part of an eco community that is slowly creating a sustainable village cooperative that’s sounds absolutely amazing.

What an amazing inspirational chat about how we can all live a much more wholesome life, thanks everyone for watching and listening we will be back again next week 💚

Tonight’s guest is a horticultural consultant who started her career in hospitality and even to the far reaches of Japan teaching kids to ski, then decided to career change in to Horticulture.

Now teaching other people the wonderful subject of horticulture whilst studying to be a master of horticulture herself!

    George Lowther

    17/07/2026 | 1h 51 mins.
We started the show as always with a question from George this week all about something from your kitchen that will help your tomatoes 🍅

We started a bit late after a bizarre pheasant emergency after one was alive and stuck in my cars front grill.

Tonight’s guest passion is exotics and a jungle style garden. He has created an amazing space that feels extremely jungly using plants are capable of getting through a British winter.

George also shows us around his garden so make sure you check out the video.

Also check out George’s channel on You Tube 👍🏻

Thanks everyone for watching and listening see you all next week for another guest from the world of horticulture 💚
