S2 E04 Things We’ve Been Proven Wrong About ft. Hare Lockwood

    05/2/2026 | 52 mins.
This week, we're joined by Hare Lockwood, comedian, Daily Tism writer and co-founder of Coherent Comedy, to discuss all the things we're happy to have been proven wrong about. This one gets pretty deep, guys, but we promise it's more uplifting than any Inspirational Autism Movie you'd find in the bowels of the Hallmark Channel.
In this episode: finding - and creating - a family, looking for love in all the wrong places, breaking into comedy as an autistic person, unlearning a whole heap of societal nonsense, and the shock of improving at things if you keep doing them. Oh, and Sara insisting she's ancient again.
If you love live comedy, but hate going outside, Coherent Comedy run monthly comedy nights over Zoom featuring some of the freshest and funniest talent around. Join Coherent Comedy and their marvellous slate of acts on the first Monday of every month at 8pm UK time - just search 'Coherent Comedy' online to follow them on socials and book your free ticket.

S02 E03 - Past Jobs ft. Sarah Barnard

    29/1/2026 | 56 mins.
This week, we have the absolute privilege of being joined by polar artist and Daily Tism social media manager Sarah Barnard to talk about our past jobs. We could tell you what to expect, but this is probably our wildest episode yet, mostly thanks to our wonderful guest host and her incredibly eclectic CV. Let's just say that this episode includes the question "What is the gestational period of a hamster?" and leave it at that. See you on the Bible Tennis courts!
You can find Sarah Barnard's incredible polar art and support her work at www.barnardpolar.shop. She's also on Bluesky @sarahbpolar.bsky.social and Instagram @sarah.polar.art.
If your tastes are considerably more lowbrow, you can watch Sarah A dancing her drama-grad heart out at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpmfLpjC19Y&list=RDYpmfLpjC19Y&start_radio=1

    S02 E02 - Autism Nests

    22/1/2026 | 58 mins.
This week, we go full Goblin Mode and talk about our Autism Nest essentials - what, and who, we employ to help us recharge when life gets too much. How are two neurodivergent women supposed to stay on topic when there are Barbie eulogies, imaginary cabins and sloth bar mitzvahs to discuss? And are we at risk of becoming the Tyra Banks Hot Ice Cream podcast? Join us as we paint a thoroughly concerning portrait of the artists at home and allow Jason Momoa's ironclad teeth to take up far too much airtime.

S02 E01 - School Reports, ft. Laura Richmond

    15/1/2026 | 1h 10 mins.
We're baaaack! Did you miss us? (Let's face it, if you're neurodivergent, you probably forgot that we existed.)

We're kicking off our second series with Laura Richmond, Daily Tism writer and author of All My Worldly Joy, with a special auditory show-and-tell in the form of our old school reports. Whether you were a 'gifted and talented' kid who made an attachment figure out of their English teacher, a chatty young contrarian who preferred the company of her imaginary ghost, or a prodigious yet deeply unpopular budding playwright, pull up a chair at our breakfast club for late-diagnosed burnouts. And, for God's sake, finish your wooden egg.
As well as being one of our wonderful writers, Laura Richmond is a researcher, campaigner, and consultant who works to improve mental health care, especially for parents and families. Her recently-released memoir, All My Worldly Joy, is a compelling account of trauma, motherhood and mental health, told with Laura's characteristic honesty and humour. All My Worldly Joy is now available wherever you get your books.
And if you loved listening to her as much as we loved talking to her, Laura will be joining us for a Patreon Live event on Sunday 15th February 2026 at 6pm UK time for a Q&A about All My Worldly Joy! See you all there - and in the meantime don’t forget to rate this show, leave us a nice review and tell all your friends about us!
