For this week's bonus podcast, we do a classic character profile, taking a look back at the characters of Angela and Tommy Harris. Arriving on the cobbles in 2003 under the alias Nelson as part of a witness protection scheme, the Harris family brought plenty of drama to Coronation Street over a three year period. From Tommy’s tough love parenting and Angela’s struggle to keep their family together, to Katy’s shocking affair with Martin Platt and the tragic events that followed, the Harrises had a short but unforgettable stint on the show. Was Tommy too controlling? Did Angela make the right choices? And do the Harrises deserve to be remembered more than they now are? We discuss all this and more in this week's episode!

Conversation Street Episode #673
On our latest podcast, we chat about all the drama on the cobbles between the 25th and the 28th March 2025 (Episodes #11,525 - 11,530).
After a tense, six-day standoff since our previous visit to the Street, the hostage action finally picked up again on Tuesday, with Carla and Lisa added to the mix to really dial up the tension as an unhinged Rob threatens to take one of them down with him. Meanwhile, we're feeling extremely smug as our long-held theory about Daisy's involvement in Tom's death is finally proven right - though with the resultant fallout between her and Jenny, it looks like any chance of reconciliation is a long way off. Also this week, we dive into some of the burning questions sparked by the week's drama: What's the deal with the scantily clad scaffolder? Is Dee-Dee making the right move by offering her baby to James? And, of course, most importantly, WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE PUDDING?
Up next on the podcast, we take a quick trip to The Kabin to discuss an award picked up by William Roache this week, and we round things off with some all-round lovely listener feedback.

Conversation Street Episode 672
On this week's podcast, we chat about all the drama on the cobbles between the 17th and the 19th March 2025 (Episodes #11,519 - 11,524).
When we heard that Rob was returning to the show all those months ago, one thing that we were hoping for above all others was that he'd get some screen time with Tracy, and Corrie certainly delivered on that front this week! After the runaway prisoner turns up in the ginnel to beg his ex-fiancée for help, Tracy finds herself looking down the barrel of a gun - will she get out alive, and what will next week's episodes bring for Carla and Lisa? Meanwhile, there's a return to the Street that nobody was expecting in the form of a newly recast James Bailey, as Ed summons him to Weatherfield in a desperate attempt to stop Dee-Dee giving up on her baby forever. Also this week, Evelyn stands by her daughter, Brian learns about the real reason Julie is back in town and Sean finds himself the unwilling accomplice of the Brody bunch.
It's a bit of a slow news week this week, but we do get a small update on Eileen Derbyshire in the Kabin, and we round things off with some listener feedback, including a voicemail from one Canadian listener about her recent trip to the UK to see the Coronation Street Experience and the On The Sofa live show!
