Brendon Bigley - Creator, Podcaster, and Blogger
This episode's guest, Brendon Bigley, is, in his words, extremely online. He helped build the podcasting platform Anchor, which was acquired by Spotify in 2019, and he worked for Marvel, overseeing its presence on YouTube and other platforms. But what most people know him for is his opinions and passion for gaming and tech in general. He co-hosts the gaming podcasts Into the Aether and NPC, and he blogs and publishes videos under the Wavelengths banner. First, Last, Everything is a podcast exploring people's personal relationships with technology. In each episode, host Jonathan Reed gets to know a guest through three pieces of tech: their first inspiration, their last obsession, and the one that meant everything to them. From some software or a computer to a weird gadget or a first camera. Pretty much anything goes. In addition, each episode features the 'Something' segment, a small dive into the past to talk about a piece of technology that you may not have heard of. Weird, ahead of its time, an abject failure or success, whatever it was, it was certainly… something. ---- This episode's links Spotify buys Gimlet and Anchor in podcast push, earmarks $500M for more deals - TechCrunch Diggnation on Wikipedia The Totally Rad Show on Wikipedia iFanboy official site The Terrace House on Netflix Audio Hijack Delta User Guide Brendon on Mastodon Brendon on Instagram Brendon on Bluesky Wavelengths.online Wavelengths on YouTube Wavelengths Podcast Into The Aether Podcast NPC Podcast on MacStories.net ---- Brendon's 'First': MacBook Air on Wikipedia Brendon's 'Last': Ayn Odin on Ayn official site Brendon's 'Everything': Nintendo DS on Wikipedia, Nintendo.com.
