Our Host continues reading Amelie's journal. Traveling to Germany for the next stage of her initiation, Amelie balances finding out what happened to her sister and niece with her growing fascination with the cult.    

After a tragic accident takes the lives of her sister and niece, the French artist Amelie begins to believe that something is extremely wrong. In 2008 she went undercover to find out the truth and this recording contains her diary entries translated and the only changes that have been made are when translation has confused the truth being told and the Host and Admin have made minor edits. Otherwise it is presented as written. What follows is part 1 of Amelie's Journal.

The Host's sense of time is being broken apart. He notices gaps in time between his thoughts and speaking, he steps away for moments that feel like days and sits for minutes that stretch into hours. The deeper he gets into researching the cult and The First Father and King the more his sense of reality begins to collapse.  

The Hosts life has become fully aligned with the investigation. He can't leave his home anymore, his lungs can't cope with the outside and so he's trapped in an empty house full of familiar whispers.
