Hello MKB family,Tallulah and Sophie are back with another episode! We are joined by two incredible women, Hannah Warnes and Geri Spicer, founders of the 4th.The mothers actually met after both having traumatic births at the same hospital. They bonded over how shocked they were by the lack of postnatal care and how much that shaped those early postpartum days. It left them feeling there had to be a better way – and that’s what inspired their new venture 'The 4th', launching 2026. Their goal is to provide a service and a community that truly supports women through the postnatal journey – not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. This episode was truly incredible and really opened up the conversation about the 4th trimester and ways in which support and care are so desperately needed by new mothers. OCD stands for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, OCD is a mental health condition where people can experience intrusive, unwanted thoughts called obsessions. In some cases of OCD, people can feel driven to perform certain actions or rituals known as compulsions to ease the anxiety those thoughts bring. These thoughts can have no bearing on a person's reality. OCD isn’t about being neat or organized; it’s about feeling stuck in a loop your mind doesn’t want to let go of. In this episode, we’ll explore what that really means, share our own personal experiences and talk to Ella about how she has navigated her OCD throughout pregnancy and motherhood so far. Please remember whilst listening that this is Ella’s lived experience and she has been very brave to share this with us. Please also remember that OCD can look completely different amongst patients. If you are struggling with OCD or know someone who is please seek help.Love MKBxxxAs always, feel free to reach out to us, we'd love to know what you want to hear about on the podcast and our DMs are always open!IG: @mumknowsbestpodcastTikTok: @mumknowsbestpodcastor message us at [email protected] find out more about our incredible guest, you can find Ella Mae on IG @ellamaestatham
