- This week on Mum Talk Podcast I am joined by Lydia, a career and life coach from Works for Me coaching. Lydia has been a long time listener of the podcast and reached out after listening to me talking on the podcast about my personal career confusion and how I was struggling to map out the path forward. Lydia touches on why, especially mothers are hitting career confusion at this point in our lives and what the next steps can look like. Lydia shares with us how to clue hunt, find our core values, our strengths and interests, which then drive the future decisions.
Enjoy.

03/08/2026 | 34 mins. This week on the podcast I am joined by Emma Bord, a personal trainer and mum of three. Exercise plays a huge part in my personal motherhood journey, not only to keep strong physically but to keep strong mentally, it's my constant, my me time so I am so pleased I can bring this conversation to you.
Emma joins me this week as we discuss the realities of balancing motherhood and exercise, support system, the importance of exercise for mothers mental health, top tips to keep physically and mentally strong pre and post birth and an absolute bonus, get your pens and notepads handy, with the Sumer holidays approaching Emma shares with us a 10/20minute scalable workout we can squeeze in with the children running around or when the children are in bed. If you're anything like me, its required for sanity.
Emma very much speaks from experience, after having children she completed all six World Marathon Majors, and winning the women’s category at the Dead Sea 50km Ultra, achieving a personal best of 3:16! Motivated to share her experience with mothers, Emma wrote her newly released book Mum Power, which is a brilliant read about the reality of balancing motherhood with training and how Emma rebuilt her fitness and confidence through small, sustainable habits rather than anything extreme.
Enjoy.

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.- Today I am diving into career confusion. After my DM's were inundated with messages off the back on a social post I put out there about my personal experience with career confusion and how I feel like I am rebuilding my life, I thought this week I would share some information on what contributes to women feeling career confused even more post birth; matrescence, hormones, niching, money, self worth and negativity and share some actionable advice I was given.
Enjoy
