What is Accidental TV Presenting?
What do I mean?
It truly is a beggar's belief that in an era where professionalism and credibility are more crucial than ever, we are still witnessing this level of mediocrity on-screen.
This week 
Presenters, especially those transitioning from other fields like sports, are often handed platforms on the assumption that their fame or expertise in one domain seamlessly translates into effective communication. 
As I observed recently, this is far from the truth.
Why is this happening?
The answer seems to lie in a mix of short-sighted decisions by broadcasters and a lack of self-awareness or accountability among presenters
The Myth of Instant Credibility
Broadcasters assume that a recognisable face guarantees audience engagement, overlooking the critical skills required to connect, inform, and inspire through effective communication. 
Fame might attract viewers initially, but it does little to hold their attention if the delivery lacks polish and professionalism.
