#125. The Sound of Grief
Yesterday I had a lesson with a girl who lost her mother recently.I felt like walking in the sand , trying not to leave foot prints. You can never say, “ I know grief very well”.You can say, “ I know my grief”.Each person’s grief is experienced in a unique, distinct way. This was a lesson without words. We were playing together. No teaching or talking. The girl was playing and crying. Every now and then she reached with one hand to dry hertears with her shirt, while the other hand continued to play. No words; just sound and silence. This was the sound of grief. #122. Beginner's Mind
Imagine this: you are sitting in front of a person that you’ve heard lots of good things about them. Most likely you feel appreciation, curiosity or interest towards them. Now imagine another time when you sit in front of a person that you didn’t hear great things about them; as a matter of fact, the opposite is true. Another time you find yourself sitting next to a person in airport or train station, and a chat starts between you two.As as the conversation goes by, you discover that you share some interesting things with this person. The question here is what YOU feel in these scenarios. Many parents think they know their children more than anyone in the world. Is it true? And how limiting this thought could be for both parent and child?Let’s discover this topic together. If you wish to support the podcast by donating, please click thePayPal link http://bit.ly/PayPal-Souloist and Thank You for your generosity.Find us on:FaceBook,Instagram ,YouTube, Linkedin
