    She's joined by Scott Bryan and Hayley Campbell to review the week’s biggest new TV and streaming releases.
    This week the trio reviewed 'Hit Point' a six-part series on U&Dave and from the creators of Misfits. The series starts when three men in animal masks intercept a Range Rover carrying ten million pounds in cash and detectives Bella and Leo are called to investigate. It premiers on the 13th of August and stars Peter Serafinowicz, William Abadie and Nick Blood.
    Next, 'The Shards' a nine-part teen drama on Disney+, based on the book by Bret Easton Ellis and directed by Ryan Murphy. It follows Bret (Igby Rigney) a student in his final year of high school in 1981 in Los Angeles who becomes obsessed new student Robert Mallary (Homer Gere), at the same time as a serial killer rips through the local community.

    Finally, 'The Westies' an eight-part drama about the real-life 1980s Irish-American gang The Westies, who partnered with the Italian-American mafia in Manhattan. It features JK Simmons as the Irish gang leader, Eamon Sweeney.

    Van Der Valk | Ann Droid | Possession

    This week’s reviews include Possession on Sky, a new supernatural thriller set in Jamaica starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Claudia, a lawyer, journeys to Jamaica's haunted Connaught plantation to fight an inheritance claim.
    We’ve also got the fourth series of Van Der Valk on ITV, a loose remake of the original Van der Valk series. Marc Warren stars as the eponymous detective who uses his street smarts and powers of observation to solve crimes in Amsterdam.
    and there’s Ann Droid on the BBC iPlayer, a sitcom written by and starring Philomena Cunk’s Diane Morgan, as a hapless robot sent to assist Sue, a widow whose husband died 18 months earlier.

    The Rapture | Furious | Evolution

    This week's reviews include ‘The Rapture’ on BBC One and the iPlayer, based on the novel by Liz Jensen. The five-part series follows Dr Gabs Fox, played by Ruth Madeley, a psychologist working at maximum-security facility for juvenile patients. There she meets Bethany, played by India Amarteifio, a teenager accused of killing her own mother who insists she can predict catastrophes.
    Next is ‘Furious’ an eight-part thriller on Disney+, which has been loosely inspired by the film Black Widow. The series stars Lola Pettigrew, as a female serial killer being chased by FBI Agent Alice Black, played by Emily Rossum.
    Finally, a five-part BBC documentary series hosted by Chris Packham called ‘Evolution’. The series explores Earth’s four-billion-year history of life and the evolutionary journey of some of our animals on the planet. Each episode covers a different animal from the Savannah Elephant to Ostrich, Bat, Dolphin, and Horse.

    Next, ‘The Dark’, a new detective show on ITV, and available to stream on ITVX. The six-part series is about the hunt for a serial killer in the Scottish Highlands, which has been adapted from the novel ‘From the Shadows’ by GR Halliday.
    Finally, ‘Little House on the Prairie’, the latest adaptation of the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, available to stream on Netflix. The eight-part series follows the Ingalls family as they leave Wisconsin to settle on the American frontier.
