Continuing our Servant Heart series, Monica Jack looks at the importance of developing a praying servant heart. Looking to Jesus as our example, Monica explores how prayer keeps us dependent on God, guards our hearts as we serve, and calls us to be humble, open, responsive and persistent in prayer.

Ps Lisa begins our focus on serving with A Servant Heart, looking at Jesus’ teaching in Mark 10 and the difference between simply volunteering and living as a servant of Christ. She challenges us to develop a heart that serves Jesus, serves together and serves others, following the example of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve.

Andrea shares a message about what it means to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, asking the question: “What kind of house are we building for Him?” Through the picture of renovating a home, she encourages us to clean out what doesn’t belong, go deeper and mature in our faith, and fill our lives with reminders of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
