Galway United have dropped to eighth in the SSE Airtricity League Men's Premier Division following a 1-0 defeat to Waterford at the RSC on Friday (9th May 2025).
Darragh Leahy's goal on 27 minutes gave the hosts the three points and condemned United to a third consecutive loss. However, Galway are still just six points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers and Derry City.
