👽 He has oversized black eyes, paper-thin translucent skin, and a skull too large for his frail body. His name? Skinny Bob. 

In May 2011, a mysterious YouTube account named ivan0135 uploaded footage that has since become one of the internet's most enduring UFO mysteries.

The grainy, vintage-looking clips appear to show a Grey alien creature — labeled "Subject 1, Code EBE-047/07" — sitting calmly as if being documented by military or intelligence officials. Unlike typical Hollywood aliens with dramatic gestures, Skinny Bob simply exists on camera: blinking slowly, breathing subtly, adjusting his posture with micro-movements that feel eerily natural.

What makes Skinny Bob so disturbing?

🔹 The eyes — They have depth and moisture. Light reflects off what seems to be a wet surface. When he blinks, thin membranes slide across from both sides (nictitating membranes), similar to reptiles and birds.

🔹 The skin — Almost translucent. In some frames, you can see what appear to be blood vessels or internal structures beneath the dermal layer.

🔹 The movement — His arms don't fall — they sink, as if moving through water or obeying different physics.

The backstory (according to the leaker):

The footage allegedly comes from Soviet KGB sources after a spacecraft crash in Russia. Skinny Bob was said to be a diplomatic representative from the Zeta Reticuli star system — approximately 40 light-years away — sent to discuss "matters of mutual interest".

The debate:

For over a decade, no one has definitively proven whether this is real or fake.

Skeptics say: Early CGI or an incredibly advanced animatronic puppet (estimated cost: over $100,000).

Believers point to: Forensic analysis showing irregular camera noise patterns, consistent lighting, and no evidence of digital manipulation under Error Level Analysis (ELA).

A 2025 twist:

In July 2025, Edward Abbott — a former US military intelligence analyst — claimed he watched the full, uncensored version of the Skinny Bob footage in 2008 inside a secure SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). According to Abbott, the original video ran several minutes and showed interaction between the entity and human agents in what appeared to be an underground government laboratory.

So… real or hoax?
