  In this episode “Garden Sounds” Pastor Blake explains that just as Eve listened to the serpent in Genesis 3, the enemy still seeks our ear today. If we allow the “beast of the field” into our garden, it brings disorder, eats away at what God has planted for us, and lures us into half-truths and chaos. But through Christ’s redemption, anyone can be restored. Jesus went before us, overcoming temptation in the wilderness (Matthew 4), and His Word gives us the order we need to guard our garden. When we partner with the Holy Spirit and live by God’s truth, the enemy loses his place and God’s order brings peace and fruitfulness.

• 49. Options to Idols and Idols to Idlers

  In this episode “Options to Idols and Idols to Idlers” Pastor Blake teaches that while life offers countless options, too many choices can create confusion and become idols when they distract us from God’s direction (1 Kings 18:21; 1 Corinthians 14:33). On the other side, idols can lead to idleness when we misuse waiting on the Lord as an excuse to do nothing. Scripture warns that idleness brings lack, temptation, and distraction (Proverbs 19:15; Ephesians 5:15-16; 2 Thessalonians 3:11-12). Instead, we are called to stand firm, avoid confusion, and remain active in God’s purpose while trusting His timing.
