- Continuing our series focusing on female runners, we sit down with Lindsay Buck, better known as the Wasdale Womble.
Lindsay reflects on her journey through fell running, how she became one of the sport’s best-known litter pickers, and why giving something back to the hills matters just as much as racing over them. We also settle the important question of the best fell shoe… although the answer won’t come as much of a surprise to regular listeners.

Although the business closed in 2003, its legacy lived on through the gear—and the people who still cherish it.
We discuss Joe’s legacy, the revival of Durham Mountaineering, and how the brand is staying true to its North East roots while looking to the future.
