Soldier Jamie Hull - Pilot, survivor and navigating love
In this special episode to mark Remembrance Day, former Special Forces soldier Jamie Hull shares his harrowing story of survival after the solo plane he was piloting caught fire. Forced to jump from the burning cockpit while still airborne, Jamie suffered multiple broken bones, and third-degree burns over 63% of his body. Given just a 5% chance of survival, he spent six months in a coma and underwent more than 60 surgeries. Jamie opens up about the excruciating pain, his grief over the life he lost, and how his military training and mindset spurred his incredible fight back. He shares how he made his peace with his changed appearance, and found the courage to date again.
