Ep. 240: Game Mechanics! Turn Based Combat!
Hey there Cubies! While turn based combat has not gone anywhere, it really did feel that it was begining to be left behind. Especially when you look at some of the bug hitters like Final Fantasy even changing the direction of their combat systems. But games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 have really shown us how turn based combat can be evolved. So, this week we take a look back at the history of turn based combat and how it has changed over it's 45 year life span. Crazy to think about that right!-----------------Hosts: Christian & ChrisDon't forget to leave us a cheeky review and we will read them on the show.

Ep. 238: Replaying Games!
Hey there Cubies! This week we have a little update of what we are playing. From Promise Mascot Agency, to Gears 5 we have a lot to talk about. But the main conversation for this week is the concept of replaying games. Not just remakes/remasters but just replaying games from our past and is that something that motivates our choices when it comes to picking what to play next. Do we want to see the same story unfold again? Or would we rather try something new to see the evolution of the genre?-----------------Hosts: Christian & ChrisDon't forget to leave us a cheeky review and we will read them on the show.

Ep. 237: Blue Prince & South Of Midnight
Hello Cubies! This week we have a couple great titles for you. Blue Prince is a puzzle roguelike where you build the mansion room by room as you explore it. The main goal is to find the hidden 46th room. The puzzles are very involved and the story that gets slowly unraveled to you is captivating. And then we have South Of Midnight. A game that uses stories and folklore of the south to tell a rich story of trauma in a beautiful way. You play as Hazel Flood and you unravel people's pain by learning their stories and it is absolutely stunning. -----------------Hosts: Christian & ChrisDon't forget to leave us a cheeky review and we will read them on the show.
