The Zelda Cast

It's hard to believe, but June 5th 2026 marks ONE FULL YEAR of the Switch 2 being released, and today, we are looking back and reviewing the year that was. We take a look at where the console is at from a hardware/app perspective, and then dive in to analyze the biggest games released in the first year and how the met, exceeded, or fell short of our expectations. For a bit of fun, we also grade the first year of every major Nintendo console!

It's about time for us to join in on some good ol' rumors and speculation! This week we're diving right in to discuss all things Ocarina of Time and what we would want to see from a possible remake! With a topic like this, there's always conversations to be had on improvements and changes; but since the Ocarina remake is still up in the air we'll also be theorizing just what kind of remake we could (potentially) be in for! Would we be looking at a simple resolution upscale from Ocarina of Time 3D? Or would this supposed remake be built from the ground up and feature an entirely re-imagined game? It's impossible to say anything for sure; but that won't stop us from trying!

All this, PLUS The Great Deku Tree Lego set discontinuing, the release date announcement for Mineru's Construct Amiibo, and the release date change for the Legend of Zelda movie!
