    03/05/2026 | 47 mins.

But what if the love and affirmation we are searching for, can only be found in God?
The youngest black Priest in the Church of England, Reverend David Peterson shares the root of his desperation for love. We discuss how experiencing rejection in church threatened his faith in God, the lengths he went to the gain the approval and acceptance of others, and how God used the heartbreak of rejection to deliver him from their opinions.
This episode is an invitation to check who is motivating the way you live your life, and how you show up. What does it look like to know and be truly satisfied by God's love? Can you confidently give Him your "yes" - even if it costs you your reputation?

    ABOUT COME SEE PODCAST
Come See Podcast is a space for unfiltered conversations about the realities of the Christian journey and the transformative power of encountering Jesus. This podcast is inspired by John 4:29, where the woman by the well's encounter with Jesus liberates her from a cycle of sin, and emboldens her to run back to the village that labelled and condemned her, to testify about the Messiah.
Every true follower of Christ has a distinct encounter, a vision, a dream, a prayer, an interaction, a conviction that led them to say "Yes" to Jesus. We are a thriving remnant of passionate believers who are unashamed about our Christian faith. Come, See.
