Can you have big ambitions for life and build a great marriage? | Dan and Charlie Blythe | Couple Goals S2E4

    28/04/2026 | 52 mins.
Is is possible to give everything to your career and your marriage at the same time? Is 'busy' a bad word? What does it look like to be truly vulnerable with someone else? How can you live a big life but include everyone around you? How can you process long-term illness and its impact together?

We covered all this and more with powerhouse couple Dan and Charlie Blythe. Dan is the Global Youth Director for Alpha and Charlie is EU Director for international anti-slavery charity A21. Parents to two young boys, they also host Yung Cubs, a parenting podcast supporting mums and dads through raw and real conversations about the day-to-day realities of raising children in our modern world.

They are passionate about living big, full lives which benefit other people - they're constantly on the move, 'busy' is a banned word in their household. Though they don't always get it right - they want to try and see the things they do as a blessing which they can use in serving as many people as possible.

In this episode, Dan and Charlie share with genuine honesty about their story together and their heart to serve each other. We also hear about Charlie's lifelong challenges with epilepsy and the impact that had on their relationship, how they manage to balance family life and work, and what their vision for relationships is.

She joins Luke and LJ to talk about how we can use an understanding of our body and brain to get to a place of health and healing for our relationships.

They covered a lot! From vagus nerve stimulation and the parasympathetic nervous system to mental health tips, dealing with overwhelm and the testosterone cycle in men. Jo brought a huge amount of wisdom and perspective on the difference between how men and women process similar situations, the impact that this can have on a couple and how to build deeper connection with each other.

Jo is passionate about helping people understand that their decisions and feelings make sense in the context of what's happening inside their body, based on their lived experience, their hormones and their neurobiology.

Listen in to learn how to retrain your body to work for your relationship - not against it.

We met on the street - now we're marriage content creators | Jordan and Kezia Lawrence-Graham | Couple Goals S2E2

    14/04/2026 | 1h 6 mins.
Jordan and Kezia Lawrence-Graham are a force of nature. Between them they have half a dozen different careers spanning business ownership, healthcare, leadership and content creation and are still finding time to build a family and advocate for people to invest in real relationships.

Behind everything is the strength of their own relationship and the way that they champion one another in everything. As their Insta bio says - 'marriage is our spice 🌶️'. For them, married life isn't something that gets in the way of success, but the engine that helps drive everything - from family to work to their socials, where they share the reality of parenting an excitable 1 year old with their followers.

With a relationship story that's straight out of a rom-com, they went from meeting on the street to getting married just 4 months after their engagement. They then quit their jobs, travelled round the world, and ended up flipping 5 houses in their first years. They don't mess around!

In everything they want to be open about the reality of married life, the challenges they've faced together and how they're still learning every day to invest in their relationship to make it stronger. They're passionate about using their platform to help other people see the value of marriage and family life in a world that often tells us to prioritise ourselves above everything else.

Drawing on their own experiences, they also offer wise words on how best to connect with and support people around us who are experiencing infertility.
