  • Ep 7: A Short Update
This week on Grief is My New Hobby A shorter episode than usual—I've been under the weather (and let’s be honest, no one wants to hear a congested, snotty host!).This week has been heavy with emotion, farewells, and gentle nudges to slow down. Most significantly, it’s the week we said goodbye to our childhood home, and I’ll be sharing why that’s been such a difficult part of my grief journey. If you’d like to be part of a future episode—whether to share your story, talk about someone you’ve lost, or offer your best advice on navigating grief—I’d love to hear from you. Email me at [email protected] or message me on social media @griefismynewhobby.And as always, a gentle reminder: pause, breathe, and be present.

  • Ep 5: The Highs and Lows of Grief
TW: In this episode I talk about mental health issues including depression & anxiety. In this episode of Grief is my New Hobby, I dive into the unpredictable waves of grief. The highs that catch us off guard, the lows that anchor us down, and the confusing guilt that arises when joy finds its way in. I open up about the inner conflict of laughing while mourning, and how feeling happiness doesn’t mean you’ve stopped grieving, it means you've decided to keep going. I also explore the daily, intentional decision to choose happiness, even when it feels out of reach. Because healing isn’t passive,  it’s a choice we make, one morning at a time.

  • Ep 4: This one's for you Ang
This week, I'm joined by one of my oldest and dearest friends, Laura. Together, we talk about the heartbreaking loss of her mum — who truly was a legend — and the complex ways Laura has navigated anticipatory grief throughout her life. She opens up about some of her most treasured memories, the moments of love, laughter and singing, and the weight of stepping into a mothering role whilst her mum Ang lived with multiple sclerosis — a condition Laura herself now lives with. This episode dives deep. We touch on some raw, brutal thoughts around grief, but also share some of the most grounding and powerful advice I’ve ever heard — whether you're grieving yourself or supporting someone who is.

  • Ep 3: Healing my Inner Child
In this personal episode, I open up about my journey of healing after the profound losses of both my parents — losing my dad at just 15 and my mum at 29. I talk about what it means to reconnect with my inner child, the emotional aftermath of early grief, and the long, often messy road to healing.Through reflection, a bit of fear, and honesty, I explore how grief shaped my identity, how I learned to hold space for my younger self, and what tools have helped me find peace in the aftermath of loss. Whether you’ve experienced grief or are supporting someone who has, this episode is a reminder that healing isn’t linear — but it is possible. Sometimes you just need to show some love to that younger version of yourself who is lost and afraid.

About Grief is my New Hobby

This is the grief podcast that refuses to follow the rules. It's a not self-help podcast, it's self-honesty. Losing both of my parents before I turned 30 has been one of the shi*test experiences and navigating a lot of big emotions has been a challenge. From laughing awkwardly whilst waiting for coroners to trying to understand probate jargon. This podcast is here to f*ck off the stigma around grief and remind you that you don't have to do this alone.
