Misunderstoond - How to handle unsolicited criticism - E207

    11/09/2026 | 42 mins.
Someone told me I was called a misogynist. Not a stranger's opinion I could shrug off — someone who'd formed a real judgment about who I am. And it caught me off guard, because it felt nothing like how I see myself. My first instinct was to defend myself. My second instinct was to dismiss them. But then I went... Hmmm. Because if I'm asking all of you to stay curious and question your conditioned interpretations, shouldn't I be willing to question mine — especially about myself? Today, we're talking about what to do when someone hands you a label you don't recognize.

GOOD SHIFT- Transformational Gardening Vs. Weed Whacking - E206

    09/09/2026 | 3 mins.
What if the reason certain problems keep coming back isn’t that you haven’t fought them hard enough—but because you haven’t changed the environment that allows them to thrive?

In this Good Shift, Dr. JC explores the difference between living like a Weed Whacker and becoming a Transformational Gardener. Drawing from his own journey with Stage 4 cancer, he challenges the instinct to spend our lives attacking symptoms, habits, stressors, relationships, and circumstances we don’t want—while overlooking the terrain beneath them.

Because lasting transformation isn’t always about fighting harder. Sometimes it’s about changing the soil.

What are you repeatedly trying to eliminate from your life that might be asking you to change the environment in which it keeps growing?

    Stop whacking. Start gardening.

    Hmmm?

Danny Goler: DMT, Lasers & the Hidden Structure of Reality: What Science Won't Touch (But He Did) - E205

    07/09/2026 | 53 mins.
What if reality isn't made of particles — what if it's made of code? My guest today is an independent researcher who took a laser, pointed it at the world, and recorded something that mainstream science has no clear explanation for. Danny Goler calls it the Code of Reality. Others have compared what he captured to the geometric patterns people report seeing on DMT. We'll get into the experiment itself, what he thinks it means, and why some of the most credentialed people in consciousness research are quietly paying attention. If you've ever felt like there's a layer to reality you're not supposed to see — you're going to want to stay for this one.

Why You Trust Fear More Than Your Own Potential - E204

    04/09/2026 | 35 mins.
In 2001, psychologist Roy Baumeister tried to find one situation where good news outweighs bad news of the same size. His team couldn't find a single one. Their paper became one of the most-cited in psychology, and the conclusion was simple: bad is stronger than good. That's not pessimism — that's how your brain is wired. It's why one criticism can outweigh ten compliments, and why 'what if this fails' can drown out every reason it might work. So today, we're asking: what if the real problem isn't fear itself, but how much more trust we hand it?

Good Shift - The Power of Not Making Up Your Mind - E203

    02/09/2026 | 3 mins.
Welcome to Good Shift—our weekly series where I take one of my favorite entries from the Makes Sense Substack and bring it to life right here on the podcast.

Today’s Good Shift is about the Automatic Yes—and why learning to pause before you commit might be one of the most powerful ways to protect the life you’re designing.

Let’s get into some Good Shift.
How many times have you said “yes” before you ever stopped to ask whether you actually wanted to?

Inspired by an August 26th entry from Jim Kwik’s Limitless Daily, this episode explores the hidden cost of the automatic “yes”—and why every commitment misaligned with your goals, purpose, and future may actually be a “no” to the person you’re becoming.

We’ll look at how people-pleasing, fear, habit, and conditioned reflexes can cause us to surrender our time, energy, attention, and carency before we’ve consciously decided where they belong. The Good Shift? You don’t have to answer right away.

This is where the power of “Hmmm” comes in.

By creating space between the request and your response, you give yourself an opportunity to look at the decision Whole-O-Graphically. Does this choice nourish your terrain or plant another weed? Does it support the life you’re designing, or quietly pull you away from it?

Sometimes the most powerful “yes” you can give yourself is a well-placed “no.”

In this episode, we explore how pausing before committing can help you reclaim your attention, protect your energy, consciously distribute your trust, and become the Architect of where your life goes next.

Because your future isn’t just shaped by what you choose to do. It’s also shaped by what you finally give yourself permission to decline.
