Kayla is a native of her district and is one of only nine Democrats serving in the House of Delegates, along with 91 Republicans. She shares what West Virginians have been saying about rising costs, particularly how skyrocketing utility bills and childcare costs have been crushing working families across the state, and talks about how she gets things done in a Republican supermajority.
The group also discusses how Republican healthcare cuts have hurt West Virginians, since 30 percent of the state relies on Medicaid.
Young, who has made waves on social media with her brand of straightforward content, shares how she uses her platform to communicate with folks across the state and provide updates on issues they care about.
