Ireland is facing major disruption as nationwide protests over rising fuel prices enter their third day. Farmers, hauliers, and transport workers have been blocking key roads, motorways, and fuel depots across the country, including in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway. The demonstrations are aimed at forcing the government to lower fuel costs, with protesters warning that current prices are threatening their livelihoods. The government has declared the protests to be unlawful and has even called in the army to help end the blockade. To discuss the wider implications of this, Richie is joined by Eamonn Blaney.
