For nearly four decades, Crystal Lewis has been one of the most respected voices in Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). The Dove Award–winning singer helped shape the genre with hits like “People Get Ready (Jesus Is Comin’)” and inspired artists such as Katy Perry and Tori Kelly.

More recently, Lewis co-wrote the Grammy-nominated song “Even If,” recorded by MercyMe. The song has now inspired the new film I Can Only Imagine 2.

CCM star Crystal Lewis says “Even If,” a hit song that she originated, was recorded without her consent and her ownership cut to 10%.
