Stop Apologising for Conspiracy Thinking: A Christian Case for Saying the Truth
I respond to Rich the Fourth’s discussion of conspiracy thinking and argue that qualifying statements like “I’m not a conspiracy theorist” don’t help, because mainstream academic and institutional audiences have already written Christians and alternative thinkers off as crazy. Using examples such as Europe’s mass immigration and the dissolution of nation-states, Epstein, COVID/Fauci, and broader claims about institutional corruption, I contend that what sounds “wacky” only does so because the people behind these events are irrational and because modern sensibilities have been manipulated. I say truthers should stop seeking respectability, wear the label with confidence, and build a parallel worldview that questions all narratives, emphasising that the solution is ultimately spiritual rather than political.

In this unscripted Friday “random rumination,” I share how exhausted I am from parenting, lack of sleep, and gym soreness while juggling my YouTube workload and a book nearing completion, with a planned finish by end of July, editing in August, and publication in September. I discuss a 30–40% view drop and reduced ad revenue due to YouTube’s algorithm shift toward short-form content. I also describe the stress of returning to the UK housing market, where prices and interest rates have surged and many homes are overpriced and poorly maintained. Reflecting on societal decline, overloaded UK systems, and growing doomer sentiment, I argue truther culture has been oversaturated into apathy. I warn about AI, digital ID, and digital currency enabling automated technocratic punishment, and raise concerns about monetizing “intelligence” via AI dependence, while emphasizing faith in Jesus as the core message.
