The release of the blockbuster biopic of Michael Jackson’s life called ‘Michael’ is now set to cross a billion dollars at the box office. Made with the Jackson estate's approval, it portrays the young Jackson as a kind-hearted, misunderstood genius; bullied by his father and exploited by the music industry.

A very different portrayal of the King of Pop however comes out in the bombshell Netflix documentary - released this week - about his 2005 trial for child molestation.

The lawyer seen in the clip was Michael Jackson’s defence attorney during his infamous trial - Thomas Mesereau - who convinced the jury to find Jackson Not Guilty on all 14 counts.

He didn’t take part in the documentary but agreed to join Uncensored for the first interview since its release. Piers Morgan is also joined by criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos,  Jackson’s crisis publicist Vincent F Amen and NewsNation’s Geraldo Rivera.

A recent episode of Jubilee featuring Dave Rubin has generated one of the biggest reactions ever, after the formerly left-wing podcaster was challenged on his MAGA credentials by 20 young Democrats who took particular issue with his faltering defense of the Iran War.

Reviews of the episode have not been kind, pretty much summed up by Glenn Greenwald’s assessment that Rubin is “one of the dumbest people in media.”

The bodycam footage is difficult to watch.

Eighteen-year-old Henry Nowak can be heard telling police officers "I can't breathe" as he lay dying after being stabbed. Despite his injuries, officers initially treated him as a suspect after Sikh man Vickrum Digwa, who had stabbed him with a religious knife, remained at the scene and accused him of carrying out a racist attack.

The case has sparked outrage, raising questions about policing, race, and whether lessons drawn from past controversies have led to dangerous overcorrections. Critics argue that policies designed to address racial disparities have created a culture in which assumptions are made before the facts are known, while others warn against using a tragedy to inflame racial tensions.

As anger grows, Henry's family have called for calm, urging people not to use his death to spread division or hatred. But protests have already erupted, politicians and activists are clashing over what happened, and the debate is rapidly becoming another front in Britain's culture wars.

The political fallout from the war with Iran is creating some unlikely alliances.

Figures as different as Tucker Carlson, Mehdi Hasan, Megyn Kelly and Cenk Uygur are all making strikingly similar arguments: that Donald Trump campaigned against foreign wars only to lead the United States into one.
