Known as the Earth-Shaker and Lord of the Deep, Poseidon is a deity of power, emotion, and consequence, whose myths remind us that nothing in nature — or within ourselves — is ever truly still.
Together, we explore Poseidon’s origins, epithets, and tangled relationships with gods and mortals alike, including his long feud with Odysseus, his rivalry with Athena, the tragedy of Scylla, and the devastating consequences of broken vows in the myth of King Minos and the Minotaur. We do not shy away from the darker truths of his stories, instead holding them as lessons about boundaries, desire, and the cost of dishonesty.
