- For the final episode of Series 1 of Matt Baker's Petcast, the Petcast caravan returns to the horse paddock in South London to meet comedian Harry Hill and his dogs, Snowy (a 14-year-old white Jackapoo) and Wilson (a black Jackapoo). Harry recalls early pets including a goldfish named James, childhood cats, and dogs ranging from a chaotic family dog to a black Labrador after returning from Hong Kong, plus later life with wife Magda and her fox terrier Hattie, who developed diabetes and died while in kennels.
He describes the challenges of raising kids alongside two brother-sister fox terriers, life on tour, and a DIY dog-flap disaster. Harry discusses his oversized collars, using animals in comedy and TV, and embracing podcasting as a lo-fi, low-overhead creative format. The episode ends as usual with The Petcast quiz.
