About The Privileged Man Podcast

Welcome to "The Privileged Man Podcast", hosted by Pete Hunt, the founder of Monumental - a personal development platform for business leaders. The Privileged Man Podcast is where we speak the unspeakable. Let's give you the background: Raised in Surrey, UK, Pete's journey took him through a Baording School, to University and onto an illustrious real estate career, working for Knight Frank, Merrill Lynch, and CBRE in London and Hong Kong. After a few years in Hong Kong, Pete was invited to become a partner in a Real Estate Private Equity team in Bali, an assignment that, while heavenly on paper, challenged his existence. Juggling complex work situations, Pete's world shifted from light to dark. This personal shift sparked a quest for healing and a peaceful mentality, driving him into the realm of business and personal development. He spent two years traversing the globe, engaging in deep self-reflection, and questioning his life trajectory and the world's future. It was during this period that Pete realised that most modern day issues for business leaders are mere whispers that are not discussed publicly due to internal or external shaming. Thus, the idea of The Privileged Man Podcast was born to bring light to these conversations in the shade.
