Tonight’s guest is Mike Fitzhugh. Mike is the creator of the Dogman Cometh app, a groundbreaking tool designed to help people who spend time in the woods document, analyze, and investigate potential Dogman evidence right from their smartphones.

If someone discovers what they believe might be evidence left behind by a Dogman—such as tufts of fur, unusual tree gouges, tracks, or other signs—they can photograph it with the app and upload it directly for analysis. The app compares submitted evidence against a growing database of known animal characteristics, helping users rule out common wildlife through a process of elimination. It also serves as a powerful field journal, allowing users to document the exact location of sightings, weather conditions, time of day, lunar phase, and other important details that could prove valuable.

Beyond documenting evidence, the Dogman Cometh app can help users locate nearby Dogman sightings, identify encounter hotspots, and evaluate how favorable conditions might be for a potential encounter based on factors such as terrain, available food sources, water, weather, and lunar activity.

Tonight's guest wishes to remain anonymous. With that in mind, I'll simply refer to him as "Donnie" throughout the show.

Donnie had what is, in my opinion, the most horrific Dogman encounter ever shared on the show. Tragically, it happened at one of the most vulnerable times in his life—when he was just 7 years old.

One night, while lying in bed at his great-grandparents' house, a Dogman quietly entered the home and took him away. One of the most horrifying aspects of Donnie's experience was where the creature took him. It carried him back to its cave—a place that sounds like something out of a nightmare when you hear Donnie describe what he experienced there.

We hope you'll tune in to hear Donnie share the details of that terrifying first encounter, along with the other Dogman experiences he had in the years that followed. After listening to his account, you'll understand why I believe his first encounter is the most horrific Dogman experience ever featured on the show.

Understandably, Donnie's encounters have taken a tremendous toll on him over the years. When he tried to tell his family about what he'd experienced, they refused to believe him. He's lost friends because of his encounters, he has ongoing problems with nightmares, and the experiences have continued year after year ever since the first one, when he was just 7 years old.

Tonight’s guest, Joe Bass, describes himself as a backwoods Appalachian with a lifetime of bushcraft experience. Growing up in the mountains of Appalachia, he spent countless hours exploring the rugged wilderness, and over the years, he had more than his share of memorable experiences there. None of them, however, compared to what happened on June 13, 2020, when he came face-to-face with a jet-black Dogman.

That encounter changed the course of Joe’s life and ultimately led him to found Uncanny Cryptid Cartographer. Since then, he has dedicated himself to documenting eyewitness encounters, preserving forgotten history, and uncovering lost history connected to cryptids and other unexplained phenomena.
