正文： A Thai teenager killed his grandparents before opening fire at his school, where he shot five people dead and took his own life, police have said,in an attack that has shaken a country struggling to deal with gun violence. The 14-year-old wounded more than 30 people in the shooting at the prestigious Debsirin Nonthaburi school northwest of Bangkok. Nine people were in a critical condition, the Thai health department said.

The European Central Bank (ECB) has warned that the destruction of nature and the escalation of extreme weather pose growing risks to the global financial system. Frank Elderson, a member of the ECB’s executive board, said the ECB is stepping up its monitoring of the financial risks linked to the loss of ecosystem services—natural processes such as clean water, stable rainfall, and functioning river systems that underpin economic activity. “These services are not stable, but they are in rapid decline,” he said. “That is why we talk about the climate and nature crises.”
