Beloved Rising is a podcast born from the woods of the North East of England, where a church has taken root without walls, windows, or barriers.Here, laughter and chanted psalms drift through the trees like incense. Barefoot toddlers wander between hammocks. Stew simmers on the fire. Sermons are preached from the forest floor. Eucharist is shared from tree stumps. And at the centre of it all - always - is Jesus.Magdalene Community Church is a deeply rooted, intentional community of pilgrims, doubters, dreamers, question-askers and friends. Liturgical and slow-paced. Simple and spacious. Ancient and alive.
