The Human Design Podcast

In today's Weekly Wrap I'm talking about growing through joy instead of shadow work.
There is a place for shadow work, inner child work and inner parenting, and I'm not throwing any of it out. But I've had a hunch for about 18 months that landed properly this week, when someone told me they now choose their growth from joy rather than from the work. I sat with it, because it named something I'd drifted away from. For a few years I was growing through play and through what lit me up, and lately I'd slipped back into hunting for the block, the broken bit, the thing to fix. This is me coming back to joy as the way forward.
From a human design view, growing through joy is simply alignment to your design. It's following your strategy and authority, your obsession, your creative urge, the thing that feels good. I bring this into business too, because whatever you keep your focus on is what you create more of, so the better question is not what's wrong, it's how can I have more fun here. I also bring back a short human design segment on type, share what I've loved this week, and give you the certainty mantra that shifted my energy on the spot.

In today's Weekly Wrap I'm taking you through what's been alive for me this week, and it starts with a line that stopped me in my tracks: we manifest who we are, not what we do.
That one came from Colette Baron-Reid teaching her art of manifesting inside HDx. Whatever we practise feeling, we become. So if I keep telling the stories of the challenge, that's the frequency I'm broadcasting. The work is choosing to practise the feeling of all the good that's already here.
From there I get into a few things I've been sitting with. Expanding your capacity to receive in the small, everyday spends, not just the ones with a productive purpose. Trusting your knowing as a muscle you build through consistency. The quiet power of softening into the present moment instead of always being the strong, independent one who holds it all. I also share what I'm relearning from The Big Leap on upper limits, my honest thoughts on AI after a Mo Gawdat conversation on the Diary of the CEO, and a big lesson on never giving your power away to a modality, even one you love.

In today's episode I am joined by Hope Pedraza, a functional medicine practitioner who blends human design with functional health.
Hope works right where your energy and your physical body meet, and she has a real knack for showing how the two map onto each other. We get into burnout, and the reframe at the heart of this conversation: burnout isn't about how much you're doing, it's about the energy behind the doing and who you're being while you do it. We talk about the difference between burnout and functional burnout for sacral beings, how each one actually shows up on your labs, and why your undefined centres so often hold the clue to what's going on in your body. 
Hope shares why she starts with minerals as the foundation, how the root centre ties straight to your adrenals and hormones, and why the blanket "it's all about your gut" messaging is doing us a disservice. This one is for the visionaries who are done forcing and ready to listen to what their body has been telling them all along.

In today's Weekly Wrap I give you the one question I want you to keep asking yourself, in your business and in your life: am I bringing reasons or results?
Reasons are usually the reasons we haven't done the thing yet. Results are what's actually happening, what we can influence, what we can do better. This is the difference between being at cause and being at effect, the author of your reality or the passenger waiting for life to happen to you. I've got open loops I can't close right now, but I can keep my hand on the wheel and keep making choices that head me where I want to go. That's where your power is, and that's where things start to flow.
I also get into the reframe that set me free when I stopped waiting for something to arrive, why it's worth auditing the old stories you're still carrying, and my honest take on the latest AI news.
