Seeking His companionship | Journeying with His words - Episode 3

    06/10/2025 | 11 mins.
Episode 3 - Every traveller feels it at some point; that quiet loneliness on the journey of life. But in those moments of stillness, remembrance becomes the bridge between you and Him. In this episode, we reflect on verses and ahadeeth that reveal Allah’s closeness. “We are closer to him than his jugular vein.” Dhikr, remembrance, is not just words on the tongue, but a heartbeat that keeps the soul company wherever our journeys take us.
In this solo series, I step away from interviews and sit quietly with my own heart - and His words.
Journeying With His Words is a personal look at what it means to walk through life as a young Muslim woman trying to hold onto the Qur’an while navigating the demands of dunya - study, work, and everything in between.
Each episode is a stop along the way - a verse, a moment, a reminder. Just me, my thoughts, and the Qur’an that always finds me right where I am.
This first episode is about beginnings. About walking, even if slowly. About choosing to hold on - to faith, to His words.
May every step on this journey bring us closer to the One whose words we always reach for.

When the birds rise: a believer’s morning | Journeying with His words

    06/7/2025 | 8 mins.
What’s the first thing on your mind when you wake up? In this episode, we reflect on the power of the morning, the barakah hidden in early hours, and how trusting Allah with our day—no matter how ordinary—can reshape our mindset, our work, and our purpose.

In this solo series, I step away from interviews and sit quietly with my own heart — and His words.
